We are recruiting for an Area Director to support our residential homes Wales.
Please note that although the location of this role is stated as "Remote" the specific area of responsibility is noted below.
As a one of our valued Area Directors, you will act as Responsible Individual, overseeing and managing the performance and safe operations of a area of residential children's homes based in various locations. Working closely with a team of Registered Managers, with a therapeutic approach, you will lead and inspire them to create a homely, nurturing atmosphere which will address the needs of our young people.
Our childcare teams are hand-picked for experience and compassion, and we care deeply about both the work we do and the people we work with.
As the successful applicant you will have:
- Proven experience of management within a residential setting with 5 years in a senior care position.
- The ability to form positive working relationships
- Demonstratable knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding & knowledge of Safeguarding & Child Protection reporting systems
- Level 5 Diploma Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (or equivalent)
- Level 3 (QCF) for the Children and young people’s workforce (or equivalent)
- A full UK driving licence
