Unsted Park School provides specialist education for boys and girls aged 7 to 19 with Asperger's Syndrome, higher functioning autism and associated disorders. It's our aim to allow all our young people to thrive effectively within an ever demanding and complex society. Students have ambitions to live and work as self-reliant adults and we can help pupils to reach their goals with continued support, structure and guidance.
The role holder will be responsible for assisting with all business support functions including Payroll and Finance administration support. You will be responsible for reviewing the reducing budget spreadsheet and debit balances on a monthly basis and month end reconciliation, petty cash and ad-hoc financial activities.
The role holder will be expected to undergo in-house training in a range of areas including Child Protection, Physical Intervention, Behavioural Management, Fire Prevention and Health & Safety at work and other specialist training related to the location as well as relevant CPD. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
The role holder should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent standard, with a high level of English and numeracy. The role holder should also possess excellent keyboard and PC skills including word and excel. The role holder will have exceptional organisational skills.
